Traditional tube cutting machines leave 150-300mm of unusable tail material per tube. QG Laser's CL Series with Zero Tailing technology reduces this to just 45mm — achieving 99% material utilization. Calculate how much you could save annually.

Technology

How Zero Tailing Technology Works

When cutting tubes on traditional laser machines, the tail section (the last portion of the tube remaining in the chuck) cannot be processed because it must remain gripped to maintain tension during cutting. This results in 150-300mm of wasted material per tube.

QG Laser's CL Series solves this problem with a proprietary dual-chuck system. The secondary chuck grips the tail section and feeds it through after the main cut is complete, allowing the tail to be processed completely. The result: only 45mm of waste remains.
