3D Tube Processing
3D Tube Processing
Type: Technology Concept
What is 3D Tube Processing?
3D tube processing refers to cutting, beveling, notching, slotting, and drilling tube assemblies in complex angles — not just straight cuts. A 3D-capable machine uses 5-axis simultaneous motion to position the cutting head at compound angles relative to the tube surface.
Why 3D Matters
Traditional approach: cut → bevel → notch → drill (4 machines, 4 setups) 3D approach: one machine, one clamping, one program
Result: 60% faster throughput, zero cumulative tolerance error.
